1. Project Overview:
The NearByVet project was developed for veterinary doctors in Kenya to streamline their appointment booking and record-keeping processes. Using Flutter (Dart) technology, the app aims to help A.I (Artificial Insemination) service providers maintain digital breeding records and offer real-time reports to farmers. The app is accessible through the Google Play Store, where A.I service providers are registered and provided login credentials by the DairyCow team.

2. Challenges:
The key challenges faced during this project included:
- Ensuring the app could handle and store detailed breeding records for multiple farmers.
- Providing real-time alerts and notifications for important dates such as repeat AI, pregnancy diagnosis, drying, steaming, and calving.
- It was hard for vets to get quick reports about their work.
- Ensuring seamless registration and onboarding of A.I service providers and farmers.
- Creating an easy-to-use interface that could be easily understood by both service providers and farmers.
- Designing an app that was easy to use for both vets and farmers, especially considering different levels of tech knowledge.
- Ensuring the app works well in areas with poor internet connection

3.Solution:
To address these challenges, the following solutions were implemented:
- A digital record-keeping system that allows A.I service providers to store and access breeding records easily.
- Real-time alerts and notifications to remind farmers of important dates related to their animals' breeding cycles.
- A smooth registration process managed by the DairyCow team, where service providers receive their login credentials via SMS.
- Integration of a Free DairyCow account for farmers to access analyzed breeding reports through the app or by requesting them from their A.I service provider.
- A user-friendly interface designed to make navigation and usage simple for all users.
- Letting vets create digital breeding records that farmers can see easily.
- Easy access through Google Play Store
- Real-time reports for vets with important information
- Creating a free account for farmers so they can see their animals' information.

4. Result:
The implementation of these solutions led to several positive outcomes:
- Veterinary doctors can now efficiently maintain breeding and health treatment data for farmers.
- Farmers get reminders about important dates, helping them take better care of their animals.
- The app has streamlined the appointment booking process and record-keeping, saving time and reducing errors.
- Vets can see how well they're doing their job through quick reports.
- A.I. service providers had a reliable tool for managing their services.
- Improved communication between vets and farmers
