Project Overview:
Complimate is a smart WHS & Compliance Management platform built to help businesses stay safe, organized, and always ready for audits. The platform is available as a web app for Admins, Managers, Workers, and Auditors, along with mobile apps for on-ground WHS activities.
The main goal was to create an easy-to-use system where companies can store all WHS documents, track tasks, manage incidents, collect evidence, and get instant compliance help using AI.
The AI assistant uses GPT + RAG to explain safety rules, find information inside long PDFs, and give accurate answers using the company’s own policies and manuals.
While building Complimate, the following challenges had to be solved:
- WHS documents stored across various platforms, leading to confusion and audit delays.
- Compliance tasks tracked manually through Excel or messaging apps, causing missed deadlines.
- Staff found it difficult to interpret WHS regulations and long policy documents.
